‍Our logistics team have successfully managed a challenging project involving the transport of 132 prefabricated hotel modules from Moelv, Norway, to the Icelandic port of Þorlákshöfn. This project also included the delivery of supplementary construction materials, making it a significant and logistically demanding operation.

The total cargo volume exceeded 1,025 tons and nearly 12,700 cubic meters, spread across two consecutive sea voyages. We handled the entire transport chain from the factory at Moelven Byggmodul to the port in Iceland, providing a full-service solution that showcases our ability to manage large-scale projects with precision and efficiency.

The project began with coordinating 132 truck transports from Moelv to Drammen Port, a process that took 17 days. At the port, we managed the interim storage, handling, and loading of all units onto the vessel MV Link Sun. Two consecutive sailings from Drammen to Þorlákshöfn followed, with each step carefully timed and executed to ensure a smooth transition from land to sea.

From start to finish, the project was completed in just 45 days, and we are proud to say that everything was delivered five days ahead of schedule.
