Expected growth for offshore wind in 2021

This year the offshore wind market finds itself positioned for record growth, especially as commissioning activities pick up in Asia and around the world (Rystad Energy).

Already having many years’ experience from providing comprehensive ship management and logistics services to offshore wind projects, we are here to serve this up-and-coming market.

Tschudi Ship Management is a recognized and respected partner within the renewable / sustainable energy markets, offering management, crewing and consultancy services. Further being pioneers in adapting traditional vessels for offshore wind, our team can assist with any planned conversions.

Our activities in this market continue with walk-to-work accommodation vessels currently under our technical management.  DP Galyna supporting a maintenance campaign at a German windfarm in the North Sea and DP Gezina shortly going to work in the sustainable energy sector in British waters.

Both vessels will be used for transferring personnel via the Ampelmann gangway and as a hotel-vessel for accommodating.  We are naturally very pleased to further strengthen our strong “track record” from this sector.

MV Bluefort shown above is another of the offshore floatels we currently manage.

Tschudi Logistics provide creative and tailor-made logistics solutions to a wide range of external clients.  Several global projects executed relate to terminal support and platform installation. One project just executed by our office in Qingdoa was the collection and loading of windmill components from Qingdao to Vietnam.

We are always prepared to do the little extra to solve a problem and turn a challenge into a success.
