Busy in the cold north and warm south

We started the new year with increased activity in the High North and south in the Atlantic Ocean – in both locations involved with winter lay-ups.

Our terminal in Kirkenes is ideally suited for winter lay-up and the drilling rig Perro Negro 8 is currently taking advantage of that. The rig has been with us since December and our experienced team will take good care of it until summer 2022. Our Arctic port is open all year round and all vessel types can be accommodated.

Further south, we have successfully moored the semi-sub tender drill rig Atlantica Delta in Santa Cruz de Tenerife for the winter period. Tschudi Ship Management currently provides the rig with technical and crew management. This management follows a successful cooperation with the tender drill barge “Bassdrill Alpha” from the same fleet.
