Tschudi Logistics recently completed a full logistics setup for the transport of 17 lifeboats. This involved chartering a suitable vessel, loading, lashing and securing the cargo. The boats were collected in Qingdao, China and then shipped to Turku, Finland.
The lifeboats (each with a capacity for 450 people) will be installed on the MV Icon of the Seas, currently being built at the Port of Turku.
