Project Manager – Rotterdam

To further strengthen our position as Project Forwarders in the European market, we are looking for a highly motivated individual to build our new Project Cargo Department from our office located near Rotterdam. You will get the opportunity to drive projects worldwide within the framework of our successful and well-established brand. As our new Project Manager, you will be joining our skilled team of logistics professionals spread across Europe, Asia, and Africa.

In 2020 our office in Rotterdam, more precisely Moerdijk, opened as an extension to our 10 offices. Our Dutch team has since then been very busy conducting primarily transports of beverages. It is now time to grow our range of services in The Netherlands to cover transports of project cargo – and this is where you come into the picture!  

As our new Project Manager in The Netherlands, you will be responsible for building a new Project Department with the international backup from your colleagues – all in the spirit of our long-standing Tschudi brand.

We are looking for

We require that you are experienced within the project cargo segment. The position as Project Manager in Rotterdam calls for a person who is entrepreneurial, have a particular business understanding, and the necessary personal resources to grow the Tschudi brand on new territories.

Your tasks will be:

• Quoting/pricing projects of all sizes and worldwide,
• Carrying out pre-contract investigations to ensure the projects comply with customs and shipping regulations, quality requirements and safety procedures,
• Coordinating logistics services and communicating with different stakeholders of transport process (shipowners, hauliers, stevedores, etc.),
• Handling day-to-day operations in a professional and cost-efficient matter
• Ensuring that the projects are run in accordance with company policies and procedures;
• Ensuring that the projects are completed to a client’s satisfaction, including meeting cost, schedule and contractual requirements,
• Leading the project forwarding team in the near future.
